Community Technology Center - CTC Lab
The Community Technology Center (CTC) meets the technology needs of the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC) by preparing them to keep up with today’s ever-changing digital world. The CTC staff maintain high service standards and continually stay abreast of new and upcoming changes in technology. They attend various trainings to enhance their skills in math, extended response, technology components and software, and other relevant technology topics.
Many students in the GRIC utilize CTC staff members to assist them as they engage in the GED classes offered at the CTC Lab. Additionally, CTC staff members work with students who take online classes to make sure Blackboard support software, GED classes, and testing sites are readily accessible. Community members find it more convenient to take online classes in the CTC Lab with this additional support.
Microsoft Office training in Word, Access, Excel and Power Point are popular courses among community members. CTC staff take great pleasure in watching community students apply technology skills developed during their time in the CTC Lab. The CTC staff also collaborate with different departments to provide technology training. To help enhance the technology skills of all participants, CTC staff conduct research to find a variety of programs to meet individual needs. The ultimate goal of the CTC is to provide quality service to all of its participants.
The CTC is located on the Sacaton Elementary School District campus just west of the Sacaton Elementary School District Office building (92 South Skill Center Road, Sacaton, AZ 85147). For more information about the CTC, please call 520-562-1206. The dedicated CTC staff are there to serve you.
