Welcome Back Braves! We hope everyone has had a relaxing summer! We are beyond excited to start the 2024/25 school year at Sacaton Elementary. As educators, our joy comes from the work we do with each and every child we serve – and the weeks without them are just not the same!
As your school principal, it is imperative to me that we give our students and staff the opportunity to begin the school year prepared and with all the tools and resources they need. Below you will find more important details about our start for school, as well as an invite to our "Meet the Teacher" event that we encourage you to attend. Students will receive school shirts, a book, transportation information, enjoy a slice of pizza, and most importantly, meet their teacher for the new school year.
Meet the Teacher
Date: Thursday, July 25th
Time: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Our first day of school is Friday, July 26th, and this year’s school theme revolves around “Adventure Awaits - Be Brave.” As a TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More), we look forward to embarking on this exciting adventure together.
Regular attendance is crucial for your child's success. Each day of learning builds upon the previous one, and consistent attendance helps students stay on track and achieve their academic goals.

It's that time of year!
Continuing Students: Student packets are now ready for pickup. If you haven't had the chance to stop by the office yet, please do so at your earliest convenience to collect your child's packet. The packet includes:
Student profile, (make updates to phone numbers, emergency contacts, address changes (please bring your new proof of residence)
Nurses’ Packet
Transportation Form
Handbook Forms
New Students: Please visit the front office if you have any new students ready to enroll. Required Documentation for new students is as follows:
Birth Certificate
Immunization Records
Proof of Residence (utility bill, lease agreement, bank statement, paystub, etc.)
Driver’s License (Parent/Guardian Identification)
Court Documents if applicable

Family Engagement Committee- Coffee with the Principal
I will be hosting Coffee With The Principal once a month starting in August. This is an opportunity for us to have open dialogue about school information, share updates, and ask questions. Our first meeting will be Friday, August 30th from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
