Engage Embrace   Contribute

Dear Sacaton Elementary Families,

As we wrap up the first quarter of the 2024-2025 school year, we are thrilled to report that student attendance has been consistently at or above 90%! I would also like to highlight the academic growth our students have shown so far, along with exciting moments such as the College Cup Assembly and other school events.

To encourage student attendance and academic growth, we are excited to announce the launch of the Sacaton College Cup! Students have been assigned to one of four local university teams: U of A, ASU, NAU, and GCU. They will earn points for their college based on their attendance, IXL completion, and academic achievements/growth.

Last week, students were introduced to the universities, and when they return from fall break, they will officially be accepted into their respective colleges. We are eager to see how this fun and engaging initiative motivates our students to excel!

Fall Break runs through October 16th. We hope you take this time to keep students engaged in learning by encouraging reading, completing the Fall Break challenge, and staying active while enjoying the weather. Fingers crossed it cools off soon!

Looking ahead, we are excited to invite you to our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences. These meetings will be a valuable opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, set goals for the next quarter, and continue working together to support their success. Be on the lookout for more information on scheduling your conference with your child’s teacher.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at conferences.

 Go Braves!
