Welcome to the beginning of 2025! I am so thrilled about the new year and look forward to an amazing second semester filled with exciting opportunities for our students. Reflecting on the achievements of the first semester, we celebrated outstanding student efforts in the classrooms, recognized achievements with student awards, acknowledged attendance, enjoyed family nights, and participated in various events highlighting our students' dedication and progress.
As we head into the second semester, our teachers are analyzing student work and designing lessons that are both challenging and engaging. This semester, we will continue using IXL, our adaptive program for reading and math, along with daily phonics/comprehension routines and small groups to differentiate both math and ELA instruction for all learners. We are also embracing the EXCEL Model as part of Capturing Kids’ Hearts, which helps us build positive relationships and foster an environment where every child feels valued and supported. By focusing on social-emotional learning, we are empowering students to take ownership of their actions and interactions.
As we continue striving to make Sacaton Elementary School an exceptional learning environment, we invite you to partner with us by ensuring your child attends school every day. Consistent attendance allows them to fully engage with the many opportunities we provide and sets them on a path toward future success.
