This month, our focus for Capturing Kids Hearts revolves around the theme of "Kindness." As we continue to cultivate an environment of compassion and understanding, it's essential that we actively engage with our students to foster the value of kindness.
During the week of March 3rd- March 7th we will be having "Spirit Week"in honor of Read Across America Week. Students will be rewarded with a heart for the following: participating in spirit week, using kind words with others, showing kind gestures in honor of "February’s Kindness Month"
Our annual Culture Night will be held at the Elementary School on Thursday, February 27th from 4:30 PM- 6:30 PM. We hope to see you there.
At our school, attendance is not just about being present; it's about actively participating in the learning process and maximizing opportunities for growth. We believe that consistent attendance fosters a sense of responsibility and commitment to learning that is essential for success both in school and beyond.
As partners in your child's education, we urge you to emphasize the importance of attending school regularly and on time. Your support plays a crucial role in helping your child develop good attendance habits that will benefit them throughout their academic journey.
Thank you for all your help with implementing the clear backpacks. Please stay in communication with me and our teachers regarding next steps for carrying forward our month of kindness from February to the end of the school year.
