due to lack of officials who will be officiating with the AIA High School basketball play-offs this week, Sacaton's basketball and baseball games vs Maricopa will be played at Cactus Middle School tomorrow.
Game Time for Baseball is at 4:15 pm (North Field) & Game Time for Girls Basketball (Varsity Only) will be at 5:15 pm.
Sacaton JV Girls Basketball game will be Thursday, Feb. 22 in the Brave Gym. Game Time is at 4:15 pm .

Check out our Sacaton Preschoolers! Preschool rounds up the letter “Nn” lesson with a fun nature walk to the orchard. Students gathered objects found in nature and placed them into their decorated paper sacks. Go Little Braves!

Girls Basketball for today against Stanfield will be rescheduled due to Stanfield's gym in the process of renovation.
Boys Baseball @ Stanfield will resume. Game time is scheduled for 4:15 pm.
Both Girls Basketball and Baseball @ Villago MS tomorrow @ 4:15 pm.
Keep in mind, schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions.

Congratulations to our Brave sports teams kicking off their 3rd season. We have completed in 3 games with 6 more to go.
It is nice to see the community and staff at the games supporting our students.

Our Season 4 season will start up in March. Season 4 sports include softball, boys basketball and track & field.
Parent/Guardian please make sure your child has a physical form completed by a physician before he/she participates in sports. Now would be a perfect time to have the forms completed.

Our 6th Grade Braves got the opportunity to attend a Field Trip to Arizona State University! While here, they participated in multiple activities prepared by the Office of Native American Initiatives, College of Education, and got to meet Xavier Guillory, a first round pick to play for the Sun Devils. Students got to tour the campus and get a glimpse of what college campus life looks like. THANK YOU to Arizona State University for a spectacular experience for our Sacaton Braves!

SUPERINTENDENT UPDATE: Sacaton School District experienced a false "Lockdown" alarm as a result of a faulty panic button. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. Our staff and students responded and followed appropriate emergency protocols. Everyone is safe. Once again, this was a false "Lockdown" alarm. Everyone is safe. School has resumed normal operations. Please be assured that there was no actual threat, and the lockdown was lifted once it was confirmed that the alarm was a result of a false activation. The safety and well-being of our students are our top priorities, and we appreciate your understanding as we prioritize their security.

The Arizona Cardinals teamed up with the Gila River Casinos to bring this fantastic event and opportunity to our 4th and 5th graders. It was a Mini Event - Interactive Camp where students got to try out their football skills and interact with the mascot of the Cardinals, BIG RED, player Daniel Arias and several of the Cardinal Cheerleaders! BIG thank you to the Arizona Cardinals and Gila River Casinos for a great opportunity to our students! GO BRAVES!

Due to St. Anthony's cancelling their basketball and baseball season, there will be no games this evening.
Both baseball and girls basketball will not have practice this evening due to Family Night.
Sacaton Families, join us tonight for Winter Family Night with BINGO at the Middle School Cafeteria from 4:00 PM- 6:00 PM! We will play Bingo, enjoy chili stew, and enjoy family time together. See you there!
