SESD #18 has been asked to share the following information: Governor Stephen R. Lewis has declared a public safety emergency and issued a temporary enhanced curfew for all persons under 18 years of age starting tonight FEBRUARY 25, 2025 until MARCH 9, 2025. Noted: The enhanced curfew shall not apply to any minor who is accompanied by the minor's parent/guardian. The enhanced curfew shall not apply to activities such as attending school, a school or community sponsored event, and official after school programs or sporting events.

What is a Hold Action? * The Hold Action is used when the hallways in the school need to remain clear. Classroom learning will still take place as normal during a Hold, but students may not be able to change classes until after the Hold has been lifted.

Congratulations to all teams participating in the 3rd Season!!
Great Win with our boys baseball team against Cactus MS last night(7-3). At this time (Mid Season) the baseball team record is 2 -3.
Both our JV and Varsity girls basketball teams have shown great progress in their play. They are showing great improvement game by game.
Each season Sacaton MS is showing a great amount of students participating in sports. Shout-out goes to the coaches and parents that have been supporting our students throughout the school year!!
Per the Athletic Handbook, grade checks are posted every two weeks. We been having great outcomes with the grades. Parent/Guardian's please continue to encourage your child to continue the good academic strides. They too are the one's making the season great.

ELA Curriculum Adoption: As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best educational resources for our students, we are initiating a public review period for the upcoming ELA curriculum adoption. This is an exciting opportunity for all stakeholders to engage with and provide feedback on the sample materials under consideration for adoption.
Dates: The review period will run for 60 days (January 22 through March 23).
Location: Sample materials are available for review at the Sacaton Elementary School District Office from 9:00 to 3:00 pm daily.
Review Process: We ask that you carefully review the materials and complete a feedback rubric that will be provided. Your input is invaluable to ensure we select resources that best support our district’s goals and the needs of our students.
